Eclipse missing from the Tools menu
When I try to right-click on the menu bar of Eclipse and click on Tools, it doesn't give me an option to open the menu. What's going on?
The only other button that works is Help.
It's not Eclipse that's missing, it's your Java runtime. As of Java 7 Update 10, the JRE is no longer a part of the JDK and is installed separately. Right-click the JRE item in the panel to open the context menu, and select "Install JRE". After the JRE is installed, you'll see the Tools menu item.
I solved it myself, I found the mistake, when I update the JVM, I forgot to check for updates and update the JVM, afterwards I found my tools menu in eclipse.
Generating top-level files for Javadocs for a Java library
I am trying to generate javadocs for a project that includes Java libraries. My approach is to build a top-level java jar file (with Java 6), and include the javadocs for each java library as an embedded resource. The approach has worked fine for projects that are completely self contained, but not for projects that use another java library.
The problem is that when I try to build the javadocs for a project that includes another java library, the build fails with the following error: 0b46394aab
